What would you use to light up these LED strips
I would use what you have but I would look at the waveforms with a scope to see why you don't see it working.

Well, I will try the logic level FETs, if these are not working, I'll ditch the TLC and just use the PWM pins on the Arduino ...
Okay, you were absolutely right.
The behavior is similar to the FET I used before. Well, I can't figure out what happens, so I'll just use the built in PWM functionality.
