Is this what you are seeking?
This jack will be fine for 5V or 12V!
The question I have for you is where do you plan on feeding the 5V to the Nano? Vin? 5V or the USB jack?
I have switched my opinion between these three inputs and have heard conflicting suggestions on different web pages. I think I will wire up a USB jack to the 5V and plug it in. Primary advantage here is you unplug to upload from your computer and you don't have to be concerned about two different 5v supplies powering the board at the same time. I have already written the code for my project and am just short the usb jack to wire into the power supply. Once I have that I am ready to breadboard the project and then soldering up on a proto board for final assembly of the project.
Good luck to you.
