Arduino Nano Battery Problem

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to power an Arduino Nano with a 9V battery. I currently have the negative terminal connected to the GND (ground) and the positive terminal connected to the VIN. The problem is that my arduino nano does not turn on with this 9V setup. When I use the USB cable to power with my computer, it does work.

How am I able to fix this problem, so that I am able to power the Arduino Nano with the 9V battery?

That should work, although a 9V battery is not well suited to power an Arduino. Have you disconnected everything else from the Arduino and tried it? Have you used a multimeter to check the actual voltage of the battery?
