Arduino Nano Every won't sit right

So I got a Nano Every recently to make the project I was working on a little compacter, to take over for my Uno, but it just doesn't seem to ever sit right and stay in contact with the headers' pins.
It doesn't shake or move or anything (mostly because I secured it a little with a bit of wire), but still even a simple LED won't be lit up by the 5V output pin unless I push the Arduino into a very specific position on its pins, often requiring quite a bit of force.

I have no idea how I'm supposed to use this board at all, given that no circuit I build will ever be reliably powered by it. Any ideas?

Here's a picture of what it looks like right now: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

Have you soldered the pins to the board ?

Yeah, you need to solder the header pins to the board.
If you get a set of long-tail female headers, then you can still plug into a breadboard, or not, and still be able to plug other things into it.

Thank you for this post. Good luck.
