Arduino nano not recognized on pc

So being the poor student I am, I got a pack of 3 arduino nanos from dealextreme, they have a CH340 chipset so I installed the drivers, but the arduinos arent getting recognized by the pc. I have checked the com ports in device manager and they arent event there. My genuino uno is working fine.

The yellow LED of the nanos are blinking and two red LEDs are on.

So things I have tried: switching cables, reinstalling drivers.

Any help is appreciated

You installed the CH340/341 drivers directly from the official chinese site ?

Yes, so I desoldered two of the arduinos and one of those works but the other doesnt, the third does work too. But I did check that there was no shorts or anything when turning them on before. I suppose one of them is dead and I cant to anything about it.

Bad soldering is still possible.
Never harms to check again.
Might not be your soldering thats at fault. People have found shorts on the USB connectors, misaligned components on Chinese clones.

Had a batch of chinese Micros I thought one was DOA turns out it was my soldering that had not fully penetrated the through hole and had not flowed properly even though it looked OK.
Sometimes it doesnt harm to re-flow your solder joints.
