Arduino Nano port grayed out

Recently upgraded to a new laptop and installed 1.8.13 using .exe.

The laptop is a core i7 11th generation is running Window 10 version 20H2 64 bit

After installing, I am able to connect my Uno to the laptop and it recognizes it is an Uno and I can select the port. If I connect a Nano to the laptop, the port is grayed out and looking at device drivers I can see under Other Devices and unknow USB2.0-Serial with the exclamation point. If I try to update the drivers manually to the installed Arduino Drivers folder, subfolders checked, it states no drive can be found.

I attempted to install an prior version, same result. I attempted the zip method and manual install of the driver, same result.

Looking at the Intel Serial driver, it appears up to date at version 30.100.2013.5 Rev.A

There is a bios update available, so going to try that next. Noticing other posts may have experienced similar issues and checking to see if anyone discovered a solution yet.

Is it a genuine nano or a copy ? Copies often have Differebt USB chip needing CH340 driver .

Oh ... usb lead ok ?

CH340 driver solved the issue, thanks! Forgot to do that in the new install.
