Hi all, I'm doing a circuit with Arduino nano. This circuit has about 25 LEDs and a buzzer. If I connect the arduino nano to my laptop everything works fine, but if I connect it to the wall adapter, the buzzer does not beep. I tested with 2 wall adapters 5 volt / 1 amp and 5 volt / 0.5 amps with no luck, there is no way to make it work unless it is connected to the laptop.
Someone could tell me what can be wrong?
How, exactly, are you connecting the wall adapter to the Arduino?
Does the Arduino work at all when connected to the wall adapter? Try the blink sketch without anything else attached.
I have connected the wall adapter to the Arduino nano through the microusb port.
For the second wall adapter, I have conected the wall adapter to an USB-MicroUSB cable ---> Arduino Nano microUSB port
When connected to the wall adapter, Arduino works fine except for the buzzer. All the leds works.
What buzzer? Can you provide a link to the data sheet?
How are the LEDs being powered? You should not draw more than 20 mA from any output pin, and no more that 200 mA from the Arduino, total. That would be 10 LEDs on 10 pins, maximum.
