Arduino nano undetected (not because of the driver)

Hi guys,

One of my arduinos nano is not detected by my laptop while the others are working well. So it isn’t a driver problem I guess.

The power led is switched on as soon as I connect the arduino by usb to the computer, but nothing else and I can’t access to it.

Do you know what I could do to fix it and use it ?

thanks <3

Is it exactly the same board as the working ones? If it has a different model of USB chip (the chip on the bottom of the board) then it will need a different driver.

Have you tried using the same USB cable as on the working Nanos? Some USB cables are defective or charge-only, so they provide power but don't pass data.

Please explain exactly what you mean by that.

You are right, the usb chip is different, the one on the arduino that doesn't work is WCH CH340G while the others are FTDI 1224-c. Thank you very much ! I will use another driver.

Yes, the usb cable was the same.
I meant that I can't access to the arduino. Only the power led is lighting when I supply the arduino.
