Arduino nano v3.0 problems

first of all i noticed that the tx led got off, i wonder if it can make any problem in the arduino.
In second place, Rx led is always on, which i suppose is not correct
and in third place, i cannot upload any code to the arduino, but get:
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x1a
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding

Problem uploading to board. See http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.
im using windows 10

Probably wrong board or flavour of board selected would be my first guess.
328P or 328P (old bootloader).

Doesnt look like a USB 3.0 issue that can also affect uploads.

so what should i do then?

According to what i read i should use ATmega328p
with board info i get this:
BN: Unknown board
VID: 0403
PID: 6001
SN: Upload any sketch to obtain it

That means your OS can see the board.
However it looks like you may have a clone or quite an old board ?

I presume you installed the correct driver for your board if it is a clone (CH340/341 or CP2102 or FTDI) ?

Note there was a scandal with FTDI which is why almost everyone moved away from that driver chip.

Did you try both flavours of board for a simple upload ?
Can you see the correct COM port in DEVICE MANAGER ?
Or does it show a device with an error ?

well, im new to arduino so i dont know what FTDI means, but i can see it in the device manager, i was able from the moment i connected it, but just in case the problem was of drivers y installed the ch340

appart from that, i already selected the nano, and ATmega328p on the app, as well as the port 10 com.
maybe has something to do with the leds stuff(?

If your ide has in tools -> processor an "old bootloader" option (this is only visible when nano is selected), try that.

If you got the nano from the ofgicial store since ~febuary, it has the new bootloader. In this case, if your ide doesnt show old bootloader option, you need to update the avr board package to latest version using tools -> board manager (versions eithout old bootloader option are always using the "old bootloader" because they predate the new bootloader)

Noted that you said "APP"

A lot of people have reported various issues with the windows store APP version of the IDE.
The only fix I know of is to remove that and use either the regular desktop IDE or the online editor AKA CREATE.
