arduino not detected by computer

Hello everyone

After that I had a short circuit Arduino (burned stabilizer) computer does not recognize the Arduino.

I tried to put the Arduino to DFU unsuccessfully computer still does not recognize.

I tried another cable with no success.

USB also another attempt was unsuccessful.

This second Arduino destroyed me and I can not find a solution.

I have an Arduino Uno R3 and Arduino Uno and both have the same problem.

Does someone know what is the problem?

win 7 64 bit

arduino uno r3

Thank Elad

If both Arduinos are failing to be recognized by the computer since being short circuited then it stands to reason that the usb-serial chip, among other things, could be demaged.

You could try using a usb-ttl adapter, such as the FTDI breakout board from sparkfun, to upload a sketch. Depending on the extent of the damage done to the board this may or may not work however.
