Arduino Not Detected on MacBook Pro with USB-C Hub

Good afternoon everyone,
I purchased the Arduino starter kit and have been carefully following the instructions in the guide. However, I am stuck and unable to resolve the issue, despite searching through various forums.

I downloaded and installed the IDE (version 2.3.3), selecting the macOS Apple Silicon 11: "Big Sur" or later, 64-bit version. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.0 OS and an Apple M2 chip.

The problem arises when I connect the Arduino through a USB hub (the Mac only has USB-C ports, and I’m using the cable provided in the kit). The hub works fine, as I use it daily for other peripherals. Once I connect the Arduino, the green LED (On) lights up, and the orange LED (L) starts blinking.

I’ve correctly selected the "Arduino Uno" board in the IDE, but when I try to select the port, the Arduino doesn't appear. The only available ports are:

/dev/cu.debug-console
/dev/cu.CuffieiPhone
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port

I’ve tried all three, but none of them work. Has anyone encountered this issue or knows how to solve it?

Thank you so much for your help!
