My Arduino UNO R3 is suddenly not detected by computer, not even in device manager. Both 'ON' and 'L' lights are on constantly when USB is connected.
FYI: USB is working properly(Verified using continuity test)
What can I do?
Welcome! At this point I will take a SWAG and say the UNO is broken, but this is a problem with windows as well. What happened when it quit working? All a continuity test will tell you is the wire is good so that is one problem out of the way. Try another board if you have one. Do not connect any hardware to it.
Did you check the USB cable? Even if it was working previously, Try replacing it.
Try replacing the usb cable also try changing the device is avalaible with that press the restart button of arduino for some seconds when it is connected to the device
Was the last sketch running using pins 0 and 1 (hardware serial)?
Does your computer recognize any device on the USB port?
