arduino not uploading

I am very new to arduino and i am trying to upload a simple program to it and i am getting this error message

Is it a real arduino or a clone ?
Are you by any chance using USB 3.0 ports ?
What shows in DEVICE MANAGER under COM LPT ports OR unrecognised devices or failed devices ?
What shows as the COM port in the IDE ?
