Arduino operation limit

Good day everyone

Does frequent plugging and unplugging the Arduino UNO board from the computer have any effect on the device functionality or performance?

Recently i had plugged and unplugged the USB frequently and when i try dumping the code onto the controller i get an error stating "Problem loading code to the board".

Is this normal?

Is there a limit on plugging the controller?

I suspect the only potential problem is physically wearing out the USB connector.

Thanks for the reply

I will get back if i have further problems related to this issue.

physically wearing out the USB connector.

The official specified "number of insertion cycles" for a USB connector is actually fairly low - 1500 according to wikipedia.
