Arduino pH Meter Help

I ordered a pH meter from DFRobot, and I am having trouble getting the program to work. I am just copying the sample programs that they give me on the website and I am having trouble. I am very novice at Arduino and this is my first solo project. On the tutorial page, it is showing me a diagram on how to connect the pH meter to the Arduino controller. The problem is my Arduino controller is the Arduino Uno and the one they have on the diagram is different and has a pin called 'VCC'. I read a little on VCC but i'm not entirely too sure what it does. Do I a controller with that pin? Is that why the program isn't working well with the meter or could it be something else?

Here is the pdf that I am using as reference. The diagram is also on the pdf.

Looks like they are using some sort of shield which they don't specify.
Trash documentation.
VCC is 5V for you.

Hi,
Can you post a link to the PH meter you purchased please, so we can see what hardware you have got?

The blue wire goes to A0.
The red wire goes to 5V
The black wire goes to gnd.

Thanks.. Tom....

Hey,
I bought the same PH sensor recently for a Navy competition and everything worked fine for me.

One thing that isn't very clear in the documentation is that in order to get accurate readings you have to adjust the capacitor on the sensor interface.

Here is a good tutorial:
