Arduino Power! Controlling higher power devices...

Hi,
Having your Arduino control higher-power devices like lights, motors, pumps, doors, and many more is one of the most interesting and useful applications you may get involved with. But it can be a little difficult and possibly dangerous when power line voltages are being controlled.

When it comes to handling 110/230V AC I realy prefere to use Double Pull Double Throw. Somthing like this:
Relay DPDT 8A 5V 50R | Elektronik Lavpris Aps 5V 100 mA and it even comes with a DIN rail.

Then again it might just be that Denmark are using some non-standard Schuko plugs
Schuko - Wikipedia that can be rotated 180º in the socket.
