I keep getting the same error when trying to upload the normal blink program to my Arduino Pro Mini. I am new to these things but I attached a picture of the issue below any help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is you chose a Pro Mini 5V, 16MHz in the menu, instead of a 3.3V, 8MHz.
I've found with some boards that you have to press the reset button when the sketch gets to the uploading point, seems to help. This may not be the solution as I can't open the attachment up, but thought I'd say.
