Hey guys im using a ASUS windows zenbook, anyway ive written a few Arduino programs and saved them. But I recently wanted to go back and review the program again so I could relearn from it. the problem is when I go to the file and I double click on it it brings up the Arduino loading screen but then it doesn't open the file/ program ive written. any suggestions? I know the files and the code are good im just at a loss for why it wont open the program all the way
Find the file using windows explorer. Right-click and click the "open" selection.

ive tried that and ive meet with the same result
Possibility 1 The Arduino IDE no longer works. Try to open the IDE and is it works do a file/open
Possibility 2 The files are corrupt. For a harddisk this is usually bad news. You can expect it to fail completely very soon. Back-up everything you need asap on a different medium.
Can you open the code in notepad?
