Arduino program starts

hi, because I should start programming with Arduino which component suggested me to buy as a base, and with what program? Just connect it to your pc? these are fine?

The Uno is certainly a good choice for a beginner. The Uno has the most support in term of tutorials, libraries and shields.

The Uno with the socketed AVR lets you take the chip out and put another in.

So if you burn up a pin you can keep the board.

You can take a working chip out and put it in an end-product; Uno is a development board, keep it.

The chip on the Uno needs to have a bootloader on it to work. You can buy the chip (ATmega328P DIP version, not SMT) with bootloader (about $5) or.... You can learn to bootload blank chips that cost half as much and keep some ready.

What works on a breadboard works better when soldered. Operative word here is WORKS.

Forgot to ask, what is your experience with programming any language but especially C?
