Arduino Programming as PLC in ladder diagram

Arduino Programming as PLC in ladder diagram

HI All!

I would like to programming my Arduino2560 as a PLC in ladder diagram.

I found here an open-source promissing porgram.

OPEN-PLC https://code.google.com/p/open-plc/wiki/Main?tm=6

Download: https://code.google.com/p/open-plc/downloads/list

What do you think about it?

I want to control my stepper motors...

ladder will have limitations as compared to C

controlling steppers with a arduino is so easy, there should not be any need for something that has limitations.

Hi, the www.industrialshields. com team is working about this. You could try to contact with him. Reguards

Interesting. I personally think ladder is much easier than coding in "C" and I know with PLC's running you can see the the states of inputs & outputs change as it is executed, making bug fixing easy and understanding what you have done & how it runs. It didn't take me as long to learn ladder as it is taking me to learn "C". I downloaded this program but I only have a Mac & it is windows based, so I wasn't able to play with it.

from where we get ladder program for stepper motor control by arduino

harindersharma: from where we get ladder program for stepper motor control by arduino

Not from 2014, I guess.

Is google broken today? I hate it when that happens.
