I have been running a CodeMakr Club at Schools in the UK for the last 2 years, this is a combination of Making & Code!

The upshot is, we have a full Arduino based programming/making curriculum that fits perfect for students aged 10+.

Best of all it’s free to use and you can set up your own club.

Get it at www.codemakr.net and download the app (mac/pc) makes Arduino programming simple, enabling students to get to grips with the Arduino in a simple environment before moving on to the 'grown up version'.

Sounds very cool! Checking it out now. This Kickstarter just launched (http://kck.st/1l09pqi) and has a wearable Arduino compatible board that uses a graphical programming interface for kids that autogenerates C code too. Might be worth looking into.
