Hi all,I'm new here.I need to design a PI temperature controller and I donna how to start.
Well ,I have 2 coolers:A brushless DC 12 FAN with 2 wires of about 0.18 A and a CMP-FAN23 from KONIG 12V DC of 0.11 A .
Well,I want to determine my Kp and Ki constants in order to determine the command's value which is to control my cooler.
Well ,where is the problem?
In order to tune my PI controller firstly I need to know what my plant's process look like...and here is where I'm well stucked!!
I donna how to find out how my process transfer function looks like...well I can play myself with an led and minimize the analogWrite value as the error decreases but this doesn't has to do anything with MATLAB tunning and all the stuff...I hope I've been pretty clear with my problem...I don't want to resort to design a sequential ON/OFF control because this is childish...I don't find any mathematical connection between the temperature measured by my TMP102 temperature sensor and the input voltage applied to the cooler...I think I need some kind of differential equations...I know to apply Laplace after that..the only thing I don't know is how to determine the model of my real system.
