I'm interested in making an Arduino receiver that i can scan through police, fire station and maybe air traffic. I'd like to know how to make one! If anyone can help this would be great!
Please list some components i need!
In some countries the police and fire station use encrypted communications. Perhaps it might be illegal in some countries to listen to it.
Building a good scanning radio that can receive air traffic is not easy. You can buy one, if you have lots of money... :
An Arduino could control some types of commercial scanning receivers, but another possibility is using Software Defined Radio with a PC.
