HI.
I'm using a SRD-05VDC-SL-C relay, so when i connect it with Arduino, Arduino lost serial communication. After restarting arduino serial communication come back, but relay still doesn't work.

Don't connect any thing to relay @ load side.
can you put ur code.
Whether your relay and arduino boards are @ same potentials and common ground??
Whether your powering the arduino using USB??
I just connect VCC, GND and IN with arduino, normal when i connect IN with arduino communication has lost.
Normally i can put code, but when communication die i can't.

you should not power using USB . u upload code first they connect other source to power on
