Arduino RFID

Hello

I have a arduino board, a sparkfun RFID 13.56 board and "RFID Tag - ABS Token Mifare 1K (13.56 MHz)" RFID Tag - ABS Token MIFARE Classic® 1K (13.56 MHz) - SEN-10127 - SparkFun Electronics

I installed arduino software and run firsts sample programs and its OK.

Do I need something else to write on the tag?, What software do I need to write on the tag?

Thanks in advice and sorry, my english its very poor.

Which "sparkfun RFID 13.56 board"? This one doesn't come with an antenna:

RFID Module - SM130 Mifare (13.56 MHz)

Hello

Thanks for the answer.

I have this module too

My equipment is:

and Arduino UNO rev3.

On this page: SparkFun RFID Evaluation Shield - 13.56MHz - DEV-10406 - SparkFun Electronics did you download and try the "Read/Write Example Code".

Did anyone mange to get the SM130 working with an Arduino Mega 2560? I've got two boards that refuse to communicate with the SM130 over Rs-232 (UART). It works fine with an Seeeduino Mega (has an AtMega 1280) and directly over an Serial-to-USB-Converter with the PC (even the signals from the Mega 2560 are recieved perfectly over the Serial-to-USB-Converter on the PC).

I suppose that the SM130 is a little sensitive on signalform and the Mega 2560 is a little sloppy with his RS-232-signal... I have no better explanation. Has anyone encountered similar problems with the SM 130 and the Mega 2560?

Never mind. Another sensor caused distortions on the supply voltage. So the assumption that the SM130 is sensetive on signalform was right.
