Arduino RX and TX not working after using 12v

hi guys i was making a mini cnc drawing machine when i started using processing software for the gcode i herd the motors buzzing so i decided they need more power and i connected a 12v adapter to the arduino it was working fine but when i re send the g code it stopped working now i cant send any codes to it makes you wait saying uploading and this error happens pls help

Remove any connections to pins 0 and 1 on your Arduino board. These pins are used for communication with your computer, including uploads. Connecting anything to these pins can interfere with uploads.

Make sure you have the correct board selected from the Tools > Board menu.

Make sure you have selected the port of your Arduino board from the Tools > Port menu.

Sometimes the port will be labeled with the board name in the menu. Other times it will not. If you don’t know which port is your Arduino, you can find it like this:

  • Unplug your Arduino board from the computer.
  • Tools > Port
  • Note the ports, if any, listed in the menu.
  • Close the Tools menu.
  • Plug your Arduino board into the computer.
  • Tools > Port - The new port listed in the menu is your Arduino board.

i did that but nothing happened also the reset switch isn't working

Which Arduino board do you have?

i am using a Chinese board with the ch340

Select Tools > Processor > ATmega328P and then try uploading again.

If you already have Tools > Processor > ATmega328P selected, then update Arduino AVR Boards via Tools > Board > Boards Manager and then try uploading again.
