Arduino Serial object issue

I'm using an Arduino library for the SparkFun nRF52840. This library has a class that defines the UART pins to the Bluetooth communication internally. It looks like this:

BLEUart bleuart
bleuart.print("Henlo");

// this will send "henlo" over Bluetooth

I know you can define Arduino Serial objects like this

HardwareSerial *port;
if (something == somethingElse)
    port = &Serial;
else
    port = &Serial1;

But I have not found a way to reference the object bleuart like this, so that &Serial1 would be bleuart. Is this even possible?

No, because bleuart isn't a (Hardware)Serial object but a BLEUart object.

So what are you really trying to do?

Any reason you're refusing to share that library (and your full code) with us?
