Arduino shield advice

Hello all. I hope this is in the correct place.

I am looking at the Arduino shields as i want to make my project a more permanent one.

I was looking at the grove connector shield as i can add the connectors to all my add on

The problem I have is it only has 7 digital slots. Is there a similar alternative available anywhere else with more digital connectors?

Thanks

Which Arduino board are you using ?

Thanks for the reply. Sorry I should have added that! It's the Arduino UNO.

Thanks

If you are prepared to add the connectors yourself then you can get prototype shields for the Uno such as Proto shield. Arduino UNO and Leonardo prototype shield | eBay

Thank you again for the quick reply. I did attempt something like this but unfortunately I am useless as soldering the connectors etc.

This shield would be perfect if there was more than the 7 digital connectors.

My best advice is that if you are intending to carry on with this hobby then you should learn to solder. Come on, you know you want to !

From experience it is more difficult to add JST crimp connectors to wires than it is to solder

You are right. I will look for a smaller tip soldering iron. Thanks for your help
