Quick question; what's the max current that the Male-To-Male Jumpers in the starter kit support?
It depends if it's something that you're going to stand there and watch. 2 Amps, maybe more if you have a fire proof bench and don't mind scorching it occasionally.
If you're going to put it inside a box, try to keep the current under 1A for those connectors.
Limit on 22 awg copper wire is just about 1A, but of course in this realm, those wires are probably some of the most robust parts of your project and the last place to worry about current killing anything.
