arduino stepper motor control with control interface and epaper display

Hello All,

I am a complete idiot when it comes to programming of any sort but I can build just about I need to. I would like to build a focusing rail for my macro photography. Here are the rough bullets of what I want to create;

  1. Control a stepper motor with arduino in a forward/backward motion
  2. Control the number of steps with a rotary or push button interface
  3. Be able to set a home position (optional)
  4. Have a reset button
  5. Display the rotation and step number with an ePaper display

I will gladly share the design with anyone interested in helping me do the coding.

If you just want someone to write a program for you please ask in the Gigs and Collaborations section of the Forum and be prepared to pay.

If you want to learn to program yourself the examples that come with the Arduino IDE are a good place to start. There are also many online tutorials. Also see the Useful Links Thread.
