Arduino suddenly stops taking input

While working on my robot, it did several tests. In all of them they worked fine. However, suddenly, the arduino uno stopped accepting input from my controller. 6 pins are used to accept input. I double checked the voltage to make sure i was not putting in too much. I wasn't. So how can i fix this problem? There are no other available pins for me to use.

Hi,have you tried reprogramming the uno, or programming the uno with a simple input/output debug program to test the inputs.
If you have a DMM can you check that the inputs on the uno are getting highs and lows when the program is not responding?

Tom.......

so it started accepting input today, then it stopped again. WHY?!?!??! =(

HI, okay to help we will need a diagram of how you have it wired up, iether a CAD drawing or picture of hand drawn circuit will be fine , but put it in jpg, png or pdf format.

Also a copy of your sketch, please use the code tags [ code][ /code] to format.
Hint: If you haven't already do an AUTO FORMAT, you find it in the TOOLS tag on the arduino IDE.

Thanks Tom, hope to help.....
