Arduino takes ~9-10 seconds to boot on 2nd time connection to laptop

Hi All,
I have this problem wherein I load the blink sketch(standard example) to Mega 2560 and when I connect this to any laptop for the first time it boots immediately and LED starts to blink.
Once I remove the cable from laptop and reconnect it takes approximately 9-10 seconds to boot up.
After this LED blinks.
This is affecting our product which used Arduino Mega 2560.
Could someone help us or let us know what is happening and what should we do to overcome this problem.
Thanks,
Anand K

Sounds like there’s some details you’ve left out.

This is affecting our product which used Arduino Mega 2560.

You’re selling the blink program as part of a product?

Post your code that fails within tags, not as a ino file.
Post a photo of your build as an attached JPG

No, we are not selling any of the product made using arduino. Its for our internal.
Blink program is the example I took to prove what is happening with the controller and others can reproduce this. This is the same example comes with arduino.

You missed the third part of the question...

Do you mean the compile and upload messages?

No - the hardware

Try powering the Arduino through the barrel jack while NOT connected to the PC and see if the time to start blinking behaves normally.

If it does then the problem is with your PC.
