Hello, i am a beginner with the arduino, and i just got the tft lcd today, i plugged it in to my arduino uno and i quadruple checked that the wires were in the correct place. Once i downloaded an example code nd tried to run it i first got an all white screen then black and grey lines running across the screen. I have tried everything, is it simply that the lcd does not work. I have attached a picture of what the screen looks like.
Nice picture, Shame there's no identification for the display, the shield used (required for many) or the code used to provide the picture content you display... Are you incapable of reading the sticky note at the top of the page?

I know Wellington this picture because I've got this problem and I've solved it by installing and using the Software version 1.5.6
It seems that something is different during the initialization of the libraries between the 1.0.5 & 1.5.6 versions.
Now my TFT LCD display works fine.
Ok i just used it on 1.5.6 used the TFT display text example but now i just have a white screen, when i try to change the color it does not work, the screen is all white. I am wiring it like the example says also. Is it a faulty LCD or am i doing something wrong.
