Arduino Tian not recognized by windows

i've tried a whole bunch of stuff. Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, installed the CP2105x drivers, reinstalled the arduino ide. Nothing, what happens is everytime I plug in my Tian I get a message from windows saying that its not recognized. I've done troubleshooting through device manager but nothing seems to help. When I try to manually install drivers and navigate to the drivers folder in my arduino install directory nothing happens, i immediately get a notification that windows thinks all my drivers for the Tian are up to date but it still says its an unknown device.

Also if I remove it entirely and plug it back in, Windows tries to install drivers but it fails.

Is my board fried? All of its LED's seem to be lighting up as normal, is there anything I can do to fix the connection? It seems like it is a driver issue but the thing is Windows refuses to update any drivers saying its up to date. Is there any cheap way to test if my board is gone?

Okay so my 13 LED turns on but does not blink, it just stays on. TX and RX do not turn on and BT blinks blue once, when starting. the USB LEd blinks once also and thats it. I'm thinking my board is dead, any ideas?
