Arduino Uno Adafruit Led Shield

Hello

I by a Adafruit 24 Channel RGB LED Shield and I want to illuminate acrylic glass letters with RGB LEDs. Each letter needs up to 15 LEDs. To minimize the wires i want connect them in a row.

Since blue and green my leds need 3.2 volts I can not connect 15 pieces in series (max 30V). Now I thought I take for green and blue 2 channels per letter

The command setLED(uint8_t lednum, uint16_t r, uint16_t g, uint16_t b) sets one LED (3 channel, red green, blue) sets 3 colors for one RGB LED row, in my case one letter.

Is it possible to modify this function like the following example, so i can control 5 channels with the following command? setLED(uint8_t lednum, uint16_t r, uint16_t g, uint16_t g, uint16_t b, uint16_t b).
