Arduino UNO ADC as Digital I/O

Hello, everybody,

I finally wanted to get to know Arduino and ordered an Arduino UNO. I have already gained some experience with the ATmega itself, but not in connection with the Arduino Board. Can I also use the analog inputs as digital outputs?

With an ATmega this should normally not be a problem.
