I have the same problem like you. I'm using the CAN-BUS Shield v. 1.2 from seeedstudio. Here my post on the seeedstudio-forum, but no one answered till now: (http://www.seeedstudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=5998)
I tried both ways (sending and receiving) but got always the same message:
"CAN BUS Shield init fail
Init CAN BUS Shield again
CAN BUS Shield init fail
Init CAN BUS Shield again"
When I use the "screw terminals"-connection my Rx LED always blinks. (This doesnt work when I use the DB9 connector.)
I'm not sure wether the board doesnt work or the seriel monitor doesn't show the right messages.
@Splendor: What do you mean with "SSpin" and "D9 or D10".
Maybe we can find out together what the problem is.
