Arduino Uno and Wifi

hi all,

I would like to connect my Arduino Uno to my home wifi network and check on a client print page the temperature of a few thermocouples.

I am looking for a cheap hardware solution for my project.

Thx for your help.

You may find the ESP8266 up for this. You may even be able to dispense with the Uno.

If you stay with the Uno, you can use an Ethernet shield and an off-board WiFi repeater. This can be a hell of a lot better than using a WiFi shield.

Hi,

what's the difference between the ESP8266 ESP version? What is the best?

Thx for your help

I'm afraid I don't know anything about them as I use Ethernet shield and WiFi repeater. You can probably google it, check eBay, or start a new post.
