Hello all,
I just received my HackHD camera (www.hackhd.com) which is almost a hackable version of GoPro cameras. My question is whether Arduino Uno can be used to power the camera or not..
According to the manufacturer, the camera supports 3.7v to 5.5v, and can be controlled by micro controllers. However, I couldn't find any clear explanation about using an Arduino Uno as a power source.
I tried to contact HackHD, unfortunately haven't heard from them yet.. I am new to the Arduino world, but my understanding is that Arduino Uno offers 5v output, so that it could be used based on the specifications of the HackHD.
Thank you for your response in advance.
Won't work since it needs 1100mah current. Great cam though
Thank you peterpan,
Yes I think this is a great camera. If you don't mind me asking a follow up question; what would you use as a power source?
I am going to use the camera for a documentary film project. The project requires a long-term recording..
I found this lipo battery: Lithium Ion Battery - 6Ah - PRT-13856 - SparkFun Electronics
I wonder if you have any other suggestions.
Thank you.
