so i have two Arduino uno's and want to burn the bootloader on some new atmega328's. I understand the tutorial all except this line "On the Arduino Uno, you'll need to connect a 10 uF capacitor between reset and ground (after uploading the ArduinoISP sketch)."
could someone please elaborate on when and where i place the 10 uF cap. ?

I figured that it may not, as they are brand new and the tutorial is not. I understand that reset and ground are marked but, am I connecting the reset and ground on the board being programmed or on the board doing the programming or the reset from one to the ground of the other?
Just to be clear I personally find it annoying when people only commit the amount of effort it takes to blink to figuring something out before throwing their hands up and yelling "someone give me the answer". The tutorial does not specify which of the two boards the cap. would go on and none of the 3 dozen or so third party tutorials I read last night even mention it. I can imagine you typing your reply and saying to your self "look at the board dummy!". I sincerely hope this is not the case and that you truly wanted to be helpful but if it is the case I would prefer sarcastic answers be kept to your self.

awesome sauce, that's what I needed and I never noticed it before but know that you point it out the reset thing makes sense.
now if only the blank atmega328 weren't out of stock everywhere!! I read something about a world wide shortage...
