my arduino uno board has a faulty bootloader because everytime i power my board the uploaded program vanishes and default blink program is loaded.
please help me out to remove this fault of bootloader and to install correct bootloader beacuse i am beginner in this field and dont know much about all this......
if you think there is something wrong with your board you should talk with the company you bought it from and if its faulty they should replace the atmega chip
to burn the bootloader youll need an dedicated programmer or another arduino
i bought it online and is there any other way out....
on IDE I found something for bootloader TOOLS->BOOTLAODER
can i upload bootloader to chip from IDE????

you can use the option you found but you still need the programmer / arduino (which will act as an programmer)
