I'm relatively new to Arduino boards, and Arduino in general. I have an Arduino Uno board, and was wondering if it would support an SD Card, an LCD Touchscreen, and an audio device (speakers)
If the Arduino Uno board did not have the capabilities to support these functionalities. I was wondering if someone could point me to a board that could.
Visit one of the Arduino shops e.g. sparkfun.com and they have all the shields you can dream of
Note: if you buy such shield you may need to buy separate header pins
A good list is also - http://shieldlist.org/ - to check the pins used by the various shields.
Thank you so much for your help Rob!
I do have a few more questions?
So does that mean that I can use the Arduino Uno board, and for each functionality (LCD Touchscreen, Audio, and SD Memory) I would have to purchase a shield for that function?
These shields, do they simply attach to the main Arduino board?
Like I had said before, I'm very new to these boards
I have an Arduino Uno R2. I would like to have a touch screen lcd shield but also be able to use a wifi shield.
Is this combination possible on an Uno? And which shields should I choose in case of pins that are not in conflicting use of each other?
Or should I get a Mega?
I notice that nobody has replied, so excuse me for digging up a dead subject. Many of the shields do have pass-through pins, so if the one you gets, does have them, then you can stack them on.
