I made a car using the Arduino Uno and I have a joystick shield to control it wirelessly. I have the joystick control the motion and the buttons controlling various things such as headlights and honk. For testing purposes, I connected a 9v to the joystick and the car to the computer. For some odd reasons, the car will only drive when I include a Serial.print line. The other buttons still works and it only happen to the joystick. The second problem is that when I connect the 9v to the car and the joystick to the computer, the car doesnt move as fast and stops responding after like a minute. Again, it only happens to the joystick inputs. Please help !
