I recently bought an Arduino Uno for a school project. But when I plug it in and i look in my Device Manager, it tells me it isn't configured right and it needs further installation. It recommends me to update the driver but whenever i try this I get the error included in this post. I've tried manually locating the drivers and looking for them online. Neither worked.
My laptop is set in Dutch so for everyone else, i'll try to translate:
An error occured while trying to install drivers for your device.
Drivers were found for this device, but an error occured while trying to install them.
Arduino Uno.
One of the install programs for this device can't be executed at this moment.
If you know who the manufacturer of this device is, go to their website and check if any drivers are available there.
I've tried looking on this site but i couldn't find any help. I've tried following the steps on https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoUno#toc3. This didn't work either (P.S. the drivers weren't named Arduino.inf exactly but the names were alike). I've tried restarting my host multiple times and I've even tried connecting the Arduino to a VM. I couldn't connect it there.
