Here is the easyvr shield I am using:
I stacked the shield on top of the Arduino, after soldering headers onto it; as well as the easyvr module.
I'm suppose to be able to open their software "Easyvr Commander" and hit connect. This will let me start training the commands.. BUT..
When I try to connect, it just says can't connect to port (COM5).
I know it is the right com port, I've tried the jumper in all positions, and even separated the shields then uploaded the testeasyvr code then restacked the shields.. same thing.. When I run the serial monitor, it says bridge not started, and easyvr not detected.. Has anyone else had this problem? I couldn't find this problem in the forums here.
I believe I just need pins 12,13,5v, and grnd connected. I've tried to just run wires to those with the shields separate, but same deal can't connect..
I will try to post pictures of my soldering on the shield later on today.. the only thing I can think of is the solder isn't good enough on one of the 12, or 13 pins? the light comes on, on the shield so I know the 5v and grnd are good..
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
here is a link to the manual.. if someone can help me get this to work, I would be forever grateful... I've been at it for the past 4 days, 5 hours a day and can't figure it out ![]()
