Arduino uno : issue while burning Attiny85 bootloader

I am struggling to burn Attiny85 bootloader using an arduino uno. I have the following setup:
Arduino Uno – ATtiny85
5V – Vcc
Gnd – Gnd
Pin 13 – Pin 2
Pin 12 – Pin 1
Pin 11 – Pin 0
Pin 10 – Reset
I also added a 10uF capacitor between RESET and GND in arduino.

I am using a macbook and I have set the IDE as in the picture

I get the following errors:

Thank you.

Did you upload the ArduinoISP sketch to the Uno?

Thank you very much for your support. I installed ArduinoISP sketch to the Uno and tried again the bootloader burning of Attiny. It looks much better now. (see logs below). I don’t know if it successfully burned the bootloader  because it says “################################## | 100% 0.02s”
then it says: avrdude: Yikes! Invalid device signature.

Error while burning bootloader.

I think this is the solution for my case:
https://www.quora.com/I-accidentally-programmed-an-Attiny85-using-the-external-clock-option-in-Arduino-How-can-I-recover-the-Attiny85
I will try it and feed this post with the result.

The issue was caused by the fact that I tried to burn the bootloader of the attiny85 mistakenly using the setting “External 8 MHz” of the IDE without adding an external oscillator. Later, when I tried to burn the bootloader, the attiny was expecting the external oscillator. The issue was solved by adding an 8Mhz oscillator between pin 3&4 of attiny (see picture)

I’m glad to hear you found success with your ATtiny. Thanks for taking the time to share your findings!
