Arduino Uno + LED Strip + Light-O-Rama

Hi guys, I was wondering if there is anyway that I could use Light-O-Rama to program light sequences to my LED strip. Maybe there is another solution that is easier?

Anyways here is the hardware/software that I am working with: Ardunio Uno LED Strip - http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=22128606 Sequence Software - http://www1.lightorama.com/sequencing-software-download/

Would REALLY appreciate any help. Thanks.

Light O Rama (controller) looks like overkill for this and their software is Windows software. Have you tested the light strip ?

Yeah that light strip works fine with the arduino program and some test code that comes with the light strip. However I have not tested it sith Light-O-Rama since I don’t know how to get the two to work together.

FORGET LIGHT O RAMA. It is windows software and their controller costs over $100. If you want to use it you'll have to find someone else to help you. I can't find any documentation on the light strip. How did you control it with the arduino ?

Here is info on the light strip http://blog.radioshack.com/2013/06/tricolor-led-strip/
