This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

Have you gone under Tools/Port, if so have you selected the right Port. Also have you chosen the right board under Tools/Board?

As well as this disconnect everything from pins 1 and 0 on your arduino.

I had this problem and it was my cable, get another cable and try if the above doesn't work.
