Arduino Uno not uploading.

I'm just trying to upload a blinking LED sketch to verify my board still works (it has in the past, just havent used it in a hot minute) and I am recieving this error. Running the IDE off of the windows store app and on Windows 10.

Arduino: 1.8.12 (Windows Store 1.8.33.0) (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino Uno"

Sketch uses 936 bytes (2%) of program storage space. Maximum is 32256 bytes.
Global variables use 9 bytes (0%) of dynamic memory, leaving 2039 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2048 bytes.

option enabled in File -> Preferences.

Help is greatly appreciated!

Hmmmm.... I had same problem... One reson can be if Arduino is working "hard" it may not want to program, so remove all connections and try again, second reason can be problem with IDE, just try to open program again, and if that dont works, reset computer... This worked for me... Can you help me with Arduino NANO (see my post on blog in this category). That would help me a loot!

Please make sure you are not a victim of this problem https://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=324095.0 (MOD EDIT)

Alguém consegue me ajudar?

Problema ao carregar para a placa. Veja http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload para sugestões.

Descobri o problema no meu caso pessoal. Solda fria no conector USB. Fica a dica.

Remove any connections to pins 0 and 1 on your Arduino board. These pins are used for communication with your computer, including uploads. Connecting anything to these pins can interfere with uploads.

Make sure you have selected the port of your Arduino board from the Tools > Port menu.

Sometimes the port will be labeled with the board name in the menu. Other times it will not. If you don’t know which port is your Arduino board, you can find it like this:

  • Unplug your Arduino board from the computer.
  • Tools > Port
  • Note the ports, if any, listed in the menu.
  • Close the Tools menu. The ports list is only updated when the Tools menu is re-opened, so this step is essential.
  • Plug your Arduino board into the computer.
  • Tools > Port - The new port listed in the menu is your Arduino board.

That was indeed a serious problem, however, that issue will never cause an upload failure. Its symptoms are limited to the Arduino IDE not starting.
