I'm a new arduino developer and I have just bought an Arduino UNO. When I connect it to my computer the power led (green) does not show.
Does this mean that it is not working?
Could be it's installed backwards. You see 5V and 3.3V at the power header?
The board seems to work otherwise?

Well load the IDE blink example sketch and see if the board works and blinks the pin 13 led.
